What a fantastic couple of days at the Little Food Festival at Fed Square!
Smile Squad was proud to be part of the event for the first time, connecting with families and bringing our My Food Rainbow activity to life and connecting with hundreds of families. It sparked meaningful conversations about healthy eating and its connection to oral health.
Our Smile Squad oral health packs were incredibly popular, flying off the tables and adding to the excitement while reinforcing positive oral health habits at home.
All our oral health packs were snapped up and more than 750 My Food Rainbow activities completed (and taken home by families!)
We had an incredible two days and were so thankful to everyone who stopped by, and to the incredible community behind the event. We loved meeting so many passionate people committed to making a difference.
We're already looking forward to next time!
Bright smiles, big impact
Earlier in April, Smile Squad and the OHV team partnered up with Zoos Victoria to turn a zoo visit into a fun oral health adventure for families.
At Carousel Park, kids joined us to learn how to eat well, drink well and clean well - just like the animals - while taking part in activities and meeting our friendly oral health teams.
Here’s the impact from the day:
- 199 free oral health checks for kids
- 602 oral health packs shared with families
- 235 Smile Squad activity passports completed
